Frequently Asked Questions

Q:  What ages do you do parties for?

A:  Our parties are great for ages 3 through 12!!!!

Q: Who are the "Party Entertainers"?

A:  The Party Entertainers are local High School and College students, many of whom are Summer Camp Counselors at Kidsports.

Q: What do the parents do during the birthday parties?

A:  Sit back, relax, and schmooze with the other parents.  We just ask the birthday mom/dad to help with the serving of the pizza/soda/cake in the party room.

Q: Can I order extra pizza or soda?

A:  Extra pizzas are $10 each and extra soda pitchers are $3.50.  In our experience, 1-slice per child is adequate, especially with a cake on the way, so we don't recommend getting extra pizza/soda for the kids.  However, some parties like to order extra pizza and soda for the parents.  Just let us know before your party day.

Q: How early do we show up for our party?

A: Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes before your starting time.  If you've chosen the Basic Package, where you supply the paper supplies, you'll have plenty of time to set up your Party Room while the kids are playing their activities.

Q: Can we buy more tokens for the kids?

A:  Additional tokens are 25-cents each and can be purchased from the token machines.  The token machines do not accept any bills larger than a Five.

Q: Can we bring our own food?

A:  Besides the cake, the only other outside food that is allowed is ice-cream.   If you are bringing your own ice-cream, we suggest buying some sort of Single-Serve item, rather than Half-Gallon containers, for it's quicker to serve and easier to clean up.  Kidsports has both refrigerator and freezer space available to store your cake and/or ice-cream.  Kidsports also has a concession stand on the premises, with Pizza, Hot Dogs, Popcorn, Soda, Chips, Cookies and Ice Cream all on the menu.  If you would like to order an extra pizza for other children's parents, please let us know at least a day in advance.

Q: What if we have less than 12 kids?

A:  The minimum price stays the same, but you'll still be entitled to 12 pizza slices and enough soda for 12 people.

Q:  Can I call in a reservation and then mail-in (or drop-off) a check for the deposit?

A:  You can mail-in or drop-off a payment, but we can NOT guarantee the reservation nor put it into the book until the payment is received.

Q: What if we want to have more than 18 kids?

A:  The party rooms can comfortably accomodate up to 18 kids.  What most parents will do is invite 18 kids, so that anywhere from 12-18 actually attend.  If you absolutely must have more than 18 kids, you can book two parties (based on availability).

Q: How do you handle a party with kids of various ages?

A:  The games played will be focused around the birthday child, and what he/she likes to play, but the Party Entertainer will try to keep it interesting for older and younger kids.

Q: What happens in the event of snow?

A:  Kidsports Management will make a determination by 10:00am for the earlier parties, and 1:00pm for the later parties.  If a decision is made by Kidsports to cancel a party, you will be able to move your party to a new date and time.  But since it would be based on availability, you may need to wait as much as 2-3 weeks.

Q: What if I have to change the day or time of my party?

A:  As long as it's done at least 1 week in advance, and the new date is both available and within 30 days of the originally scheduled date, we can simply move your party to another date and time.

Q:  What if I decide to cancel my party outright?

A:  Since the outstanding balance is not due until the day of the party, the only money you would lose is the non-refundable $50 deposit.

Q:  How can I get the Larger Arena for my party?

A:  Renting out the larger arena is done through our soccer director at a premium rate, and has a very limited availability, especially during the indoor soccer season.  Call 437-4504 for more information.
